VVHS Magnet

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students, Welcome to the Valley View High School Performing Arts Magnet! We, the Valley View High School Performing Arts Department, are a comprehensive program that includes band, choir, dance, television production, and theater. Any student in the district may elect to transfer to our school during open enrollment by completing a VVHS magnet program application and a MVUSD intra-district transfer application prior to March 09, 2007. Upon acceptance from the MVUSD, the student must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be registered for the program for which they were accepted for the duration of their attendance at VVHS. If a student fails to maintain these standards, he/she will lose their intra-district transfer and be required to attend the school from which he/she transferred. In the attached packet, we have supplied you with our classes offered, application, and placement audition processes. Any students who requests placement in our program must FIRST contact the program teacher/director for placement audition times and places. All students must audition to assure class registration.
